This position manages all customer activities regarding containers they wish to export via sea transport. He/She works with customers, suppliers, and various shippers to route, pick up and/or track shipments as required. He/She solves problems and maintains an ongoing professional relationship with the client and suppliers.
Job: Transport Agent (Maritime Export)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day customer service functions based on customer needs, including advice on discrepancies and compliance. Coordinate and follow up on shipments including reservation, pick-up, and delivery of goods, transport tracking, documentation, insurance, and accounting. Advise clients on maritime and road export transport procedures, international regulations. Obtain and produce all relevant information (overseas, consulates, government agencies, etc. Arrange transportation and documentation with carriers. Produce accurate information and documentation on time. Develop business relationships and follow up with customers and partners (eg carriers). Ensure that all files are closed within the deadlines established by the company. Participate in quality and process improvement.
Performance criteria:
A number of shipments and profit per transaction No errors in data entry and information processing Accurate costing and invoicing within a reasonable timeframe for closing files all department operations and requirements should be handled with the aim of improving customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
College diploma in transport logistics and/or 1 to 2 years of experience in the transport field Specialized courses in transport (CIFFA, CITT, etc.) an important asset

Purpose
Provide accurate information and processing support to NY Prime Brokerage by:
- Receiving and validating information assigned to Income processing (Stock dividends, stock splits, spin-offs, etc) as well as DRIP and currency elections
- Receiving, processing, and reconciling Reorg instructions within market deadlines
- Verifying the documents like dividend/rates, currency, tax implications with DTC, Clearstream, CDS, etc., and ensuring that all entries are correctly passed, and Events are completely balanced.
- To inquiries from internal and external parties and ensures that all duties are performed in the proper manner with SCUSA’s standard and procedures.
- Verification/ approvals are required.
